Young poets at Nancy Reuben Primary School

I had a lovely day with the pupils at NRPS yesterday - everyone from EYFS to Year 6 seemed to have the poetry bug! Lots of poems were shared with me, and these fantastic collaborative poems were created in our workshop sessions. Years 1 and 2 used their imaginations to think of the many different ways a poet can look and what a poet likes to do, Years 3 and 4 wrote some lovely odes to special people in their lives, and Years 5 and 6 learned about a type of poetry called Kennings - popular with the vikings and still in use today.
